Sir Kenny Barron's "Songbook"

Kim Berry recently interviewed Sir Kenny Barron for the release of a long-awaited dream project, Songbook. Songbook represents the fulfillment of a decades-long dream for the 82-year-old piano master and showcases 13 of his original compositions reimagined. The recording is a blend of seasoned and emerging singers performing Sir Barron's compositions, with lyrics penned by Janice Jarrett.
