El Torito Mexican Restaurant was the scene of a parade of fashions from Mexico, Guatemala, India and the Navajo Nation. Tejido del Tercer Mundo (Weavings of the Third World) mixed the fragrance of hair spray with the mouth-watering smell of carnitas in a fundraising event to raise funds to get KUVO on the air.
