The band Perpetual Motion is at the Muse Performance Space at 7 pm on Friday. The band began in 2014 and faced a crisis in 2021 when its violinist, Josie Quick, shattered an elbow. Having shattered an elbow myself, I know it is no small matter. And Quick’s return on Friday is certainly something to celebrate at the Muse.
Back at Dazzle, the San Francisco String Trio is on stage on May 20. The trio of notable players (Mads Tolling, Mimi Fox, and Jeff Denson). The trio is out and bout with its own celebration of the 156th anniversary of the release of the Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band. The shows at Dazzle on May 20 are at 6:30 and 9 pm.
