This Sunday, October 13th at 4 p.m., KUVO’s archive series “On Stage” features part one of highlights from 2019 performances in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.

So far in 2019, KUVO has logged 35 sessions, including high school and college bands, artists that live in Colorado, artists that had to fly or drive to get here, and a few very special and intimate “performance interviews.”

Imagine being up close and personal with guitarist Jimmy Bruno, or catching the intensity of Mark Fox & Sonic Nomads first-hand.  We celebrated local bandleader Neil Bridge’s 90th trip around the sun and swooned to gypsy jazz band LA POMPE. A few folks where in the room when Detroit’s Queen of the Blues Thornetta Davis stopped by.  There’s so much to experience when you host one of America’s dedicated broadcast performance studios!

Fresh for 2019, it’s a new edition of Producer’s Picks. Susan Gatschet is your host for “On Stage,” this Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m., only on KUVO Jazz.
