Bill Hill, set has been the Principal Timpanist with the Colorado Symphony for the past 38 years. The orchestra has performed his compositions more than 50 times and he is frequently a featured soloist. His award-winning compositions range from symphonies to jazz and chamber music. They have been regularly performed and recorded by numerous groups across this country and in Europe including the Moravian Philharmonic.

Mr. Hill also does educational programs on World Percussion demonstrating and performing on his collection of instruments from Africa, South America, the Middle East, the British Isles, etc. Bill teaches composition at the University of Denver Lamont School of Music and is the Music Director of the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra.
