DENVER — Rocky Mountain PBS partnered with the office of Denver Mayor Michael Hancock to hold a town hall event in which experts participated in a discussion about the coronavirus, vaccines, and how to better serve communities of color and Colorado seniors in our fight against COVID-19.

“We know this virus is relentless and deadly, regardless of your age, gender or zip code,” Hancock said. “We also know older adults—who are already isolated by things like physical disabilities, lack of transportation, technology barriers or illness—are often left behind or marginalized when it comes to critical information about their health and well-being. That gap is even greater when we talk about communities of color.”

You can watch the town hall on Rocky Mountain PBS on Saturday, February 20 at 6 pm and Sunday, February 21 at 10 am. To see panelists and more info.
