Andy O' is the host of The Thursday Night Beat from 8 to 10 p.m. and the host of The Nightside on Sundays from 9 p.m. to midnight. He is also a musician (his band Coyote Poets has six albums out) and an award-winning poet who came on board at KUVO JAZZ on Labor Day 1989.

Since joining KUVO, Andy O' has worked nearly every on-air shift at the station. From 1997 to 2003, he served as KUVO's Music Director. In 1997, he created Jazz on the Edge, a show featuring the avant-garde and was the show’s first host. The show ran Sunday nights after JazzTales, a program integrating poetry and jazz that won Westword's "Best Radio Show."

Known for his deep knowledge of jazz, Andy O' now works in KUVO’s production department while continuing his on-air hosting duties. He often refers to himself as “KUVO’s Sixth Man.”
