Mindi McNeil

Community Reporter & Producer

Mindi started with KUVO as a part-time fill-in host on “First Take with Lando and Chavis” and is now a News Host and Producer. Currently, she has a web series on kuvo.org called Spotlight On…

Except for a small stint in California, she has been happy to call Colorado home since 1991.

“I have traveled extensively and there really is no place like Colorado, as everyone knows,  it truly is the best state in the nation”

During her time in Southern California, doing stand up and improv and attending college, she was encouraged by a friend from Colorado to try her hand at radio. She did, and she has never looked back.

While living in California Mindi was a syndicated Radio Host, Co-Executive Producer, and Interviewer on the award-winning radio show “My Awesome Empire,” as well as an on-air host for NPR’s “All Things Considered” and a contributing news reporter for KVCR-FM, and on-air announcer, producer, and program host for Coyote Radio, KOLA-FM, KCAL- FM. She has also served as a producer on KLZ-560 AM here in Denver.

She graduated with Honors from Cal State Bakersfield with degrees in both Communications and Sociology and holds professional association memberships in Alpha Kappa Delta (part to the International Sociology Society) and Lambda Pi Etta (part of the National Communication Association)

When she’s not at work she likes to travel (she has visited all 50 states, and is now working on visiting all 7 continents, all Canadian Provinces and U.S. territories), spend time with family and friends, goes to concerts, and watch/read murder mysteries.
