Two sons of Chicago, Chico Freeman, and Brad Goode are each internationally known jazz artists, having recorded on hundreds of albums between them.  Chico is recognized as one of the most important saxophonists of his generation. Brad served his musical apprenticeship in the band of Chico’s father, legendary saxophonist Von Freeman. The reunion of these two artists in 2023 marks the centennial year of Von’s birth. This concert begins several national dates together throughout the coming months, in advance of the celebration in October.
