Born and raised in Denver, CO., Matt has been composing, performing, and recording in the Front Range for 23 years.

MaryLynn Gillaspie & Her Stinking Hot Band will perform at Dazzle on Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30 pm. MaryLynn was a founding member of the Grammy-nominated vocal jazz group, Rare Silk. The group got their start in Boulder, CO. Their very first album, New Weave flew to the top of the Billboard Jazz charts and received 2 Grammy nominations. MaryLynn and the group toured the world singing in the US, Europe, and Japan. Rare Silk received acclaim working alongside artists such as Miles Davis, Branford Marsalis, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman, and opening acts for Spyro Gyra and BB King.

The Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra performs new music from their CD recording project of Stevie Wonder favorites, “Overjoyed.” The CJRO is Colorado’s premier professional jazz ensemble. Colorado’s best musicians performing classic big band and modern large ensemble jazz, that’s the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra.

One may recognize Adam Bodine from Dazzle’s very popular Downtown Brunch, where he and his trio entertain the masses every Sunday. On Thursday, September 6th, the genre-fusing keyboardist and composer changes it up and take things to a new level with an expanded ensemble for a rare and intimate concert exploring an eclectic array of Adam’s creative and compelling original compositions. Bodine’s tunes brilliantly blend a wide variety of styles and moods to produce a fresh, fun and compelling sound that tickles the imagination.
