The holiday season is upon us and it can be a great time, but for some it can be a dreadful time as well.  We can often reflect on what a bad year it has been, we can have a hard time with family and friends we visit with, encounters with strangers can push us over the edge, job and finances can stress out, or even our own internal thoughts can lead to our unraveling.

There are a host of reasons why the holidays can be hard for some people, and living (for some) might no longer be an option. We here at KUVO want you to know that there is help available out there for you and you are not alone.

It doesn’t matter your age, race, gender, or  socio-ecnomic status, emotions and feelings hit us, and sometimes extremely hard. No matter who you are, there is help available.

I had the chance to speak with Daniel, a supervisor at the Colorado Crisis Line regarding things that can push people over the edge, coping skills, where to find resources and more.
