Possessing international respect for their wide-ranging repertoire and rich sound, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra specializes in Thad Jones’s complex, warm harmonies and memorable melodies.

Delighting audiences with everything from relaxing swing, 70’s-style jazz-funk, ballads and avant-garde tunes, the orchestra’s library includes music from Bob Brookmeyer, Jim McNeely, Slide Hampton, Bob Minzter, Kenny Werner and others.
