Triiip

A KUVO JAZZ and THE DROP 104.7 Project

Triiip (with three i’s) is a storyteller first and an MC always.

Originally from Decatur, Illinois and now rooted in Colorado, she’s built a lane all her own with razor-sharp rhymes, unapologetic confidence, and a gift for detail that makes every verse hit with intention. Hip-hop became her outlet and her armor, a way to transform lived experiences into music that resonates far beyond her own story.

Influenced by icons like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nipsey Hussle, Jay-Z, Big Sean, and Rapsody, Triiip embodies the spirit of lyricism with a purpose. Her songs speak to life’s struggles and triumphs, crafted with an authenticity that makes listeners feel both seen and inspired. For Triiip, music is more than expression, it’s a way to give back, motivate others, and face the world with honesty and love.

On stage, she’s raw energy and charisma, proven when she entered and won The Drop’s Battle for the Block in 2023. Off stage, she’s committed to using her voice to push boundaries and amplify her community. Clever punchlines, bold metaphors, and undeniable hustle are the heartbeat of her artistry. In every way, Triiip is proof that bravery, truth, and vision can not only move a crowd but also move the culture forward.
