Andrew Marlin Stringband

Andrew Marlin is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is known for his captivating songwriting and immersive mandolin playing presented in both his band Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange), as a member of Mighty Poplar, and under his name. Andrew and his string band will be performing an assortment of material from his solo albums and beyond.

Marlin has played in such prestigious venues and festivals as Austin City Limits, Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, Earl Scruggs Music Festival and Telluride Bluegrass Festival. In addition to Andrew Marlin, Mighty Poplar features some of the best bluegrass players around including Greg Garrison (Leftover Salmon), Chris Eldridge and Noam Pikelny (Punch Brothers), and Alex Hargreaves (Billy Strings). Their self-titled debut album came out in 2023, featuring songs from Bob Dylan, the Carter Family, Leonard Cohen and more.
