Eirik Haugbro Trio

We are delighted to welcome the Eirik Haugbro Trio ( pianist Gavin Allen-Dunn and drummer Brian Claxton ) back to the Nocturne stage for a special Sunday night performance. A Portland native, Eirik has performed with renowned artists nationwide and is deeply influenced by the great piano trios of jazz history, drawing inspiration from the music of legends such as Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson.  Eirik studied the double bass at Western Washington University and received a master’s in jazz studies from the University of Northern Colorado. and has performed with Pedro Martins, Genevive Artadi, Michael Mayo, John Fedchock, and Ali Jackson.
