Artist Spotlight: Daryl Gott
In the latest Artist Spotlight, Daryl Gott stopped by to chat with Paul Donovan for a chat. A fixture in the Denver Jazz scene, Daryl has been playing saxophone since the fifth grade and can be found playing most nights of the week at the Meadowlark. On Tuesdays, he plays at Herb's Hideout. He also has a deep passion for teaching saxophone and improvisation, maintaining a private saxophone lesson studio as well as being a faculty member of the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts. Besides gigging and teaching, Daryl also stays active as a composer. Daryl has worked with Eric Gunnison, Danny Gottlieb, Ethan Iverson, Jon Gordon, Dick Oatts, Greg Gisbert Sean Jones, and John Lee among others.
