As a radio personality for more than 20 years in Denver, Paul’s radio career includes work with major market stations in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Dallas

On Paul Donovan's last "Artist Spotlight" series, Torin Brown and Ishmael King, co-founders of the Denver Metro Jazz Big Band (DMJ), stopped in to tell us how the newly-formed big band came about.

Two of their primary missions are to provide non-occupational musicians with the opportunity to perform in a professional-caliber big band and to help make big band jazz accessible to the people of the Denver metro area.

They have a full season of shows lined up all over the Denver metro area, kicking off with their live debut on July 28 at Dazzle.
