Behind the Mic: Geoff Anderson of the Night Beat and All Blues
Whether it’s making selections from his infamous Vinyl Vault, bringing you the latest in blues, or sharing reviews on KUVO’s website from his latest concert experience, Geoff Anderson has been bringing his eclectic taste, curatorial ear, and passion for the music to KUVO audiences for 37 years.
For almost all that time, he has been on the air Tuesday evenings from 8-10 p.m. MT as the host of The Night Beat, and for about 20 of those years, has featured a record from his collection that isn’t in the KUVO library on “The Vinyl Vault,” every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. MT. Geoff also hosts All Blues opposite Sam Mayfield on Saturdays from 4-6 p.m. MT and is a regular host for KUVO’s High School Collegiate Performance Series, a program cultivating a broadcast performance experience for the next generation of musicians in area schools since 1997.
