Colorado Gives Day on KUVO: 3 student bands LIVE | Tuesday, December 10

This year on Colorado Gives Day (Tuesday, December 10, 2024), KUVO celebrates music education by presenting three student bands performing live and on the air throughout the day.

At noon, it’s the Century Middle School Jazz Ensemble from Thornton, directed by Jared Crump-Bertram. (pictured above)

At 3 p.m., you’ll hear the Colorado State University Jazz Ensemble, directed by Gabriel Santiago and Wil Swindler. (pictured on homepage)

At 7 p.m., it’s the C C J A Jazz Arts Messengers, directed by Eric Gunnison. (pictured below)

We’re opening the Masterpiece Studio to the public for these special live performances, so just drop by 2101 Arapahoe in downtown Denver to encourage these young musicians.

Be sure to log on Colorado Gives Day / KUVO 24 and donate to support KUVO’s High School and Collegiate Series through Colorado Gives Day.

LIVE performances on KUVO JAZZ are supported by KUVO Studio Club members, the Bonfils Stanton Foundation, Drum City Guitarland, Grace Design Pro Audio, Listen Up, Flesher-Hinton Music in Wheat Ridge, Carlos Lando Musician & Event Fund donors.
