Community Connection: Louise Vaughn of ARC Thrift Stores
Recently, Tree King sat down with Louise Vaughn, the Vice President of Human Resources, Loss Prevention/Safety, Ambassadors, Volunteers, and Support Teams for ARC Thrift Stores, a nonprofit working to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Louise and Tree talked about Autism Acceptance Month and ARC Thrift Stores' mission. They also talked about how it's important for individuals with intellectual disabilities to have fulfilling jobs and why all business owners should consider hiring them.
