Community Connection — Millette Birhanamiskal of Whittier Cafe

Host Tree King is joined in the studio by Millette Birhanamiskal, owner of the Whitter Cafe. Denver’s only African espresso bar.

All of their coffee comes from various African nations. The Whitter café does more than drinks. You can get small bites, lunch, and more!

Social justice and support-related causes are deeply rooted in their beliefs. “Activist’s Coffee Shop” is a nickname they proudly accept. In May they celebrated 10 in business.

Every Sunday they have an East African coffee ceremony. Whittier Caf offers space for many different types of events.

For people who need or want a cup of coffee, this is the place to go!
