Let’s not undersell it. The entire landscape of public radio financing has undergone significant changes.

So The Morning Set jumped at the opportunity to get some perspective from a conversation with longtime NPR “All Things Considered” host Ari Shapiro. We did not expect him to announce his resignation from the show the day before our interview.

He explained that his decision had nothing to do with the current political climate around public media funding. We also talked about his vocal work with Pink Martini. Shapiro comes to Denver in mid-October to receive the Damon Runyon Award from the Denver Press Club.
