The next Live on KUVO video series features the solo piano of Erik Deutsch, captured in KUVO’s Masterpiece Studio in front of a Studio Club audience, with emcee Andy O. The video goes up on our YouTube and Twitch channels Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. and will be available on demand.
Pianist Erik Deutsch, former Colorado scenester, longtime Brooklynite, and current resident of Mexico City, returned to Dazzle in September with a new band and repertoire featuring music from his new release “This Was Then.”
Renowned for his ability to bounce between musical genres (credits include The Black Crowes, Norah Jones, Charlie Hunter, The Chicks, Al Green, Ron Miles, Rosanne Cash, Leftover Salmon, and others), Erik’s ninth album as a leader is a celebration of his stylistic versatility and compositional vision whilst remaining firmly rooted in jazz tradition.
