KUVO’s Mardi Gras Special features the Good Fats Meters Project, LIVE and on the air from the Masterpiece Studio on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.

This Denver-based Meters tribute band features the early works of New Orleans’ iconic funk band, curated by bassist Seth Lewis, with vocalist Aleik Maddox, guitarist Dave Devine, organist Tom Amend and drummer BK Kahn. These deep instrumental funk grooves are reinterpreted faithfully by the band, but provide ample room for the ensemble to stretch out musically.

Tune in and let the good times roll on Fat Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m., on the air, on the stream, on the app, and KUVO’s YouTube and Twitch streams.

Performances on KUVO JAZZ are supported by KUVO Studio Club members, the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, Drum City Guitar Land, Grace Design Pro Audio, and the donors to the Carlos Lando Musician & Event Fund.
