Thank you to those who supported KUVO JAZZ on Colorado Gives Day!

Due to high winds and fire danger, transmitters are operating at reduced power and reception may be affected through the weekend. Thank you for your understanding and support! You can listen online and on the KUVO app.

For our Summit County ListenersThe KVJZ 91.7FM transmitter site on Bald Mountain experienced a catastrophic power line failure. Because of the high elevation and winter conditions, repairs won’t be possible until next summer. Stream KUVO JAZZ on our website, the app, or your smart speaker.

R&B Jukebox December Doo Wop Show

Doo Wop Music. A genre that built the foundation for all vocal groups. In the mid-50s, no matter where you went in any major U.S. city, you heard vocal harmony coming from street corners in every neighborhood. Many of the greatest singers in music history cultivated their talent during the doo-wop era.

Join Ricky Moseley this Saturday on the R&B Jukebox for the annual December Doo Wop Show!  Ricky will take you on a journey exploring that majestic Doo Wop sound. He’ll talk a little history, and play songs from both familiar artists, as well as lesser-known groups from the era.

For two hours, it will be all things Doo Wop. Ricky will feature groups such as Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, The Orioles, The Drifters, and The Moonglows, as well as more obscure groups like The Sequins, Barry & The Highlights, The Sparks, and many more!

Tune in to The December Doo Wop Show on Saturday, December 7 at 6 pm, only on The R&B Jukebox.
