Trombonist Stafford Hunter on Lunchtime!

Tune in to Lunchtime! with Arturo Gómez on Tuesday, March 25 at 12:15 p.m. as the increasingly popular terrific trombonist and shellist Stafford Hunter stops by KUVO to chat about his Samba Bossa Birthday Bash.

Stafford’s birthday party will feature songs by the brilliant Brazilian composers Antonio Carlos Jobim and João Gilberto, and Duke Ellington; all music will be performed as Bossa Novas and Sambas.

Helping to celebrate will be Eric Gunnison playing piano, Gabe Rupe on the bass, and Braxton Kahn on drums (in one of his final shows before relocating to France).

“The Birthday Bash” will take place at The Muse Performance Space in Lafayette on Friday, March 28 at 7 p.m.
