Thank you to those who supported KUVO JAZZ on Colorado Gives Day!

Due to high winds and fire danger, transmitters are operating at reduced power and reception may be affected through the weekend. Thank you for your understanding and support! You can listen online and on the KUVO app.

For our Summit County ListenersThe KVJZ 91.7FM transmitter site on Bald Mountain experienced a catastrophic power line failure. Because of the high elevation and winter conditions, repairs won’t be possible until next summer. Stream KUVO JAZZ on our website, the app, or your smart speaker.

Arturo Gómez interviews Suter Du Bose of the Jazz Supper Club Series

We invite you to tune in for a special edition of Lunchtime with host Arturo Gómez on Tuesday, November 26 at noon as he interviews jazz impresario and restauranteur Suter Du Bose about the first anniversary of the Jazz Supper Club Series at Full Cycle Café and Bar in Boulder. After the closing of his former restaurant Caffé Sole, Suter took some time off and then started a new venture at a bicycle and ski shop turning it into one of the best jazz venues along the Front Range where the weekends become a magnificent room to enjoy jazz, great appetizers, entrees and a full bar.

The weekend after Thanksgiving, the Jazz Supper Club Series celebrates its first anniversary with saxophonist Rico Jones who is back in Colorado for the holidays. Rico is a former KUVO JAZZ “30 Under 30″ artist we chose for our 30th Anniversary young jazzers we knew would have a bright future, and he has not disappointed.

Rico Jones will lead two diverse evenings; Friday’s smokin’ hot organ Jazz Quartet with Vlad Girshevich, and Saturday night will be an evening of hard-driving, beautiful, straight ahead Jazz classics that we all know and love, performed by several of Colorado’s finest musicians accompanying Rico Jones.
