Cyndi Luzinski , the Executive Director of Dementia Together joins Tree King on Community Connection on Friday, June 20, during the 11 o'clock hour.
It's a community of people all going through similar challenges on the dementia journey. No one has to walk the journey of dementia alone.
Dementia Together uses the SPECAL® method in their dementia-friendly education, which is a simple, evidence-based disability management model understandable by anyone regardless of educational level or medical knowledge. This method is effective in positively managing dementia, promoting lifelong well-being for people living with dementia while decreasing stress for care partners.
Once a month, they also offer an on-demand virtual education platform to access their class for families: An intro to SPECAL®.
