Community Connection: Hazel Miller
On Friday, June 27, during the 11 o'clock hour, Community Connection host, Tree King, will talk with Colorado Hall of Fame vocalist, Hazel Miller, and the COO of Inner City Health, Andrea Cortez.
Hazel talks about being one of Denver's on demand vocalists, the Colorado Hall of Fame, and her long-time involvement with Inner City Health. Andrea will talk about Inner City Health and its success.
Hazel is no stranger to a spectacle, and her birthday celebration this year — dubbed “Hazelpalooza” — will be no exception. She and her band, The Collective, and special guests including Josh Blackburn, Chris Daniels, Jack Hadley, and Alice & Dave of Soda Blue. The birthday bash is at the Arvada Elks Lodge on June 30 at 6:30 p.m. The proceeds from this event will benefit Inner City Health, an organization Miller says is close to her heart.
