Community Connection: Yolanda Webb of Arc of Adams County

On January 23, Yolanda Webb, the Executive Director of The Arc Adams County joined me for Community Connection.

This independent advocacy organization offers services and support for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Yolanda and I talked about how The Arc Adams County is associated with ARC Thrift Stores and the current issues they are trying to address with legislative and systemic policies. We also talked about how important the February 6 event at Northglenn City Hall will be, as they will be providing information to families and caregivers about tax prep as well as guardianship and estate planning for individuals with disabilities.

Event details: February 6 at Northglenn City Hall Community Room with two sessions: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
