Community Voices: Denver Rescue Mission Part 2

As a radio personality for more than 20 years in Denver, Paul’s radio career includes work with major market stations in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Dallas

Madelyn St. Clair, Director of Homelessness Resolution - Mobile and Community Connections at Denver Rescue Mission, will be Paul Donovan's guest for "Community Voices" on Monday, July 14, at 4 p.m..

The Mission is seeing more people with limited agency – think military veterans, disabled, those with serious health issues – not getting the help they need. Our Complex Case Management team physically goes to them and gives them assistance, and finds them stable housing. The Mission is coming up on two years since the program was launched, and they have found stability for over 50 individuals. This is a significant number.

This team is helping individuals who would otherwise be stuck in a cycle since they can not traditionally access services. Over 50 percent are from the Baby Boomer generation, and over 80 percent have a physical disability.
