Eats & Beats: Convivio Café opens 2nd location in LoDo

Steve Chavis, Vivi Lemus and Kristin Lacy of Convivio Cafe

All it takes to build a good coffee shop is good sourcing, a committed and trained staff, and a trusted connection with the community. The Northside’s Convivio Café proves as much by building a steady clientele since 2022, and now Convivio is opening a second location across the street from Union Station.

Co-owners Vivi Lemus and Kristin Lacy visited KUVO’s Morning Set to spill the java on their farmers, their recipes, and the expansion of their women and immigrant-owned, Guatemalan-inspired, bilingual café.

Vivi and Kristin found a co-working spot in The Alliance Center at 1536 Wynkoop St., Denver, 80202, in LoDo. It’s a collaboration that matches their values of climate justice and sustainability. The grand opening of the new location is Thursday, February 5, 2026. RSVP at their events page at Convivio Café.
