Live & Local: 48th Denver Film Fest, artistic director Matt Campbell visits The Morning Set

Matt Campbell, Artistic Director Denver Film Festival

The 48th edition of the Denver Film Festival (DFF) is certainly international, with films from 40+ countries. But the Denver festival is positioned as a regional film festival that gives film fans in the Front Range and the Rocky Mountain West access to stars at red carpet events, filmmakers, and the best of new features, independent projects, shorts, animations and documentaries.

The festival also spotlights 19 films with Colorado ties, including five features, five documentary shorts, and nine narrative shorts. DFF Artistic Director Matt Campbell dropped by The Morning Set to share highlights and the bleary-eyed joy of this year’s festival, adding, “If you plan it right, you can see up to five films in a single day!”
