Originating from Quito, Ecuador, Cruzloma is a duo consisting of Sergio Castro and Felipe Romo—friends, music producers, and DJs—united by their shared passion for rhythm creation. Their music embarks on a journey that seamlessly merges traditional and contemporary influences, drawing inspiration from Global Bass and the rich musical heritage of their homeland.
With the release of their debut EP, Mitos y Ritos, under ZZK Records, Cruzloma immerses listeners in a unique sonic experience. Their work not only captures the vibrant rhythms of Ecuador's jungle, coast, and highlands but also establishes "Postcolonial Bass" as a new trend. Their music, deeply nostalgic yet irresistibly dynamic, invites the audience to dance, blending folkloric and club elements in an entrancing manner.
