Live on KUVO: Chamber Jazz from Still Life on YouTube, Twitch | Thursday 8/21. 11 a.m.
The Live from KUVO video series features Colorado-based Still Life on our YouTube and Twitch channels, Thursday, August 21 at 11 a.m., and will be available on demand. The quintet session of original music was recorded in front of a live Studio Club audience.
Still Life is a up-and-coming chamber jazz ensemble based in Denver, Colorado. A creative collective with a core quartet including trumpeter Micah Miller, saxophonist Nathan Radich, drummer Gabriel Mangione, and bassist Michael Rinko, the group is dedicated to presenting creative music and collaborative art as an active part of Denver’s new music scene. Still Life plays with a "thoughtful, singular style" that blurs genre lines, honoring the tradition of improvisational music while also drawing inspiration from new chamber music, folk, and rock.
