How do I participate in DOD 2020?
—Virtual Insider Tours:
Our 2020 event will highlight 12 of Denver’s unique spaces – cultural, commercial, private, civic and more – through online Insider Tours. Featuring: one tour a day, four days a week (Monday through Thursday) for three consecutive weeks. Each tour will allow time for a question-and-answer period. Tours will cost $7 for DAF members and $9 for non-members.

—Y/OUR Denver Photo Competition: Doors Open Denver’s annual Y/OUR Denver Photo Competition will return in 2020! Once again in partnership with the Colorado Photographic Arts Center, we will accept online entries over the three-week event timeline, and the corresponding exhibit of top entries will open to the public virtually in December.

—Audio Tours: Take advantage of our recently launched Audio Tours, which allow for getting outside to explore Denver’s architecture in a safe, socially-distanced way. On August 4, DAF released two significant audio tour journeys, titled Downtown Denver: A Game of City and Empire Builders and Civic Center Park: A Speerian Play. These FREE tours feature 24 locations historically significant to Denver and Colorado and highlight more than a century of Denver’s architecture and cultural history. The project was paid for in part by a grant from the History Colorado State Historical Fund.
