It’s Time for our annual Christmas in the Caribbean!
Host Janine Santana is inspired every year around this time. While at home making Coquito, Arroz con Gandules, Pernil, and Pasteles, her mind turns to all of the playful and moving holiday music that Afro-Caribbean culture celebrates from December through January.
Janine welcomes Arturo Gómez to co-host on Sunday’s Salsa con Jazz for an international delight of holiday music derived from our ancestral islands in the Caribbean.
Some of the albums featured: Navidad en las Americas, Navidad by Miguel De Leon, Arbolita by Celia Cruz, and some NEW releases in Salsa Christmas Music.
