The Morning Set with Carlos Lando is live on KUVO JAZZ! Tune in every weekday morning from 7 to 10 AM to get your morning started with fresh beats and local happenings. We start the show off with what matters most, the music! Each day we’ll catch up with our audience on that day’s significant events in music history with “My Back Pages.”

Tuesday, 5/24 during the 8 AM hour — We’re going behind the mic with KUVO’s Tuesday Night Beat and Vinyl Vault host, Geoff Anderson.

Wednesday, 5/25 during the 8 AM hour — Chef and owner of Azucar Bakery James Williams will be LIVE in the studio for our Eats & Beats special!

Thursday, 5/26 during the 7 and 9 AM hours — Rocky Mountain PBS Colorado Voices: We’re live in the studio speaking with Carey Candrian, creator of the ‘Eye to Eye’ photography exhibit that centers the voices of older LGBTQ+ women

Friday, 5/27 during the 7 and 9 AM hours — We’ll be speaking to actors Alexis B. Santiago and Maya Malan-Gonzalez from Quixote Nuevo playing at the Denver Center for Performing Arts through June 12. Set in the fictional modern-day Texas border town of La Plancha, Quixote and his luckless but trusty sidekick, Sancho, embark on a fantastical quest in search of long-lost love. Infused with imagination, comedy, and Tejano music, Quixote Nuevo reveals the joys and perils of facing down Death and becoming the hero of your own story.
