Revopsyk, a revolutionary psychedelic artist, has been on a journey to bring a new sound to the world of music. With roots in Mexican traditional sounds, his music is a modern twist on the traditional, incorporating elements of psychedelia and trippy, out-of-this-world sounds. By using traditional Mexican Indigenous instruments and incorporating new technology, Revopsyk is able to create a unique sound that sets him apart from the rest. His music is deeply inspired by artists such as Fela Kuti, Flying Lotus, the traditional sones of Mexico, Indigenous cultures, and groups keeping those culture’s sounds alive such as Tribu. He wants to change the perception of Mexican music from heavily European-influenced genres to sounds that are indigenous to Mexico. Revopsyk’s music is an exploration of the human experience, a reflection of his own journey, and a celebration of life, culture, and heritage.
