2019 Dragon Boat Festival
On Saturday July 27th and Sunday July 28th the 19th annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival will take place at Sloan’s Lake. Dragon Boating has been around for over 2000 years and came to be as a result of the death of poet Qu Yua.
The Executive Director for the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, Sara Moore, stopped by KUVO recently to talk about the history of Dragon Boating, the origin of the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, activities happening during the festival, parking and more.
