Chef Francisco Quintana grew up on 34th Avenue and expressed to me that for him, food was always love. Whether it was Daddy Bruce’s thanksgiving meals, after-church menudo, or cooking with his grandmothers, he soon learned the importance of community when it came to food. Naming his catering kitchen after the place where he sprouted his roots only made sense. 30Forth Kitchen pays homage to the flavors of East Denver and as owner, Francisco Quintana believes in the importance of partnerships with other local small business.

After working his way up to the top in other restaurants, he faced a crossroads during the pandemic and decided to try his hand at owning his own kitchen. From selling Sunday dinners out of an apartment to running a ghost kitchen and catering events and businesses around town, Francisco Quintana shared his story on The Morning Set.
