Jonathan Paul Romero is a Mestizo and a Multi Media Artist from, and based in Denver, Colorado. Jon was Inducted into the Chicano Music Hall of Fame at Su Teatro in 2023. He is an Artist/Member of The Chicano Humanities and Arts Counsel in Denver, Colorado, and has been performing for 60 years as a Musician, DJ, Mexican Folkloric Dancer and an Actor in the State of Colorado, as well as exhibiting his artwork and acting as a mentor to younger musicians in the community.

Geraldina Lawson has been telling storied (cuentos) since she was a child growing up in the border town of Laredo, Texas. She started telling cuentos professionally in 1989 as the “Cuentos de Lupe La Loco.” These stories are both traditional and created storied based on the Latino Southwest experience.

Z, whose stage name is BassSpeaks, the poet with the copper voice, is a multi award winning twin spirited indigenous spoken word artist. Z became the first Poet Laureate of Lafayette as of April 2022. The Colorado born poet has been speaking/performing in the Denver Metro area since 2008. With the mission to speak on social issues and to promote unity, literacy, and creativity through poetry, Z uses traditional forms and radical fusions of art and poetry.
