Trumpeter and composer, Jonathan Saraga, is a native of New York City and has been recognized internationally for performance and composition excellence by the International Trumpet Guild, the School of Improvisational Music, The Herb Alpert Foundation, ASCAP, the Banff Center, and the International Songwriting Competition.

 His trio features Coloradan bassist, Matt Smiley and special guest NYC-based drummer, Aaron Seeber.

Saraga has played in ensembles led by highly acclaimed and Grammy-nominated winning artists such as Steve Coleman, Henry Cole, Maria Schneider, Darcy James Argue, Orrin Evans, Josh Evans, Jimmy Greene, Tyshawn Sorey, Eric Bergen, and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra to name a few.
