We welcome LAPOMPE to the Studio Club on Friday, February 22 at 11:15 to noon. You’ll hear influences of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s commonly called gypsy-jazz and genres such as tin-pan alley standards and soulful blues, Latin bossas and French ballads. LAPOMPE’s performance will encompass mostly original compositions from their previous album “Lush” and self-titled EP, as well as some brand new material from their upcoming release. LAPOMPE is David Lawrence-guitar and vocals, Andrew Hannum-guitar, Erik Fellenstein-violin, and Kevin Laxar-upright bass.

LAPOMPE is releasing their brand new all-original album on Swallow Hill on Friday, April 12. Currently they have a weekly residency at Union Station.
