Vinyl Vault | Rainer Bruninghaus: “Freigeweht”

This week’s Vinyl Vault will feature a 1981 album by keyboard player Rainer Bruninghaus, “Freigeweht” (meaning free-blown). This ECM release marked Bruninghaus’ debut as a leader after working with Eberhard Weber for a number of years. Bruninghaus is joined by Kenny Wheeler on flugelhorn, Jon Christensen on drums and Brynjar Hoff on oboe and English horn.
