Vail Jazz Party | Sept. 1-5

VAIL JAZZ PARTY! LABOR DAY WEEKEND! For 5 days over Labor Day weekend, more than 40 of the world’s most celebrated jazz performers will meet in beautiful Vail, Colorado for the 22nd Annual Vail Jazz Party. The amazing roster of headliners joins together to play more than 35 hours of back-to-back jam sessions, group performances, and inspiring multimedia tributes to jazz legends, from Thursday, September 1st through Monday, September 5th. 

This year’s highlights include: trumpeter Byron Stripling’s tribute to the “Birth of the Blues,” Brazilian guitarist Diego Figueiredo’s series of intimate, improvisational duets with jazz greats, bassist John Clayton’s homage to jazz legend and cultural icon Milt Hinton, and the perennial favorite: Niki Haris’ soul liftin’, hand’ clappin Gospel Prayer Meetin’.
