KUVO welcomed more than 140 guests to the station’s 30 Under 30 Jazz Jam last Sunday at Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club.

The event kicked off KUVO’s 30 Under 30 series – highlighting local, up-and-coming musicians under the age of 30 – and included a jazz jam from the featured musicians themselves.

In the true spirit of jazz, these musicians were assigned to jam groups without the chance to practice beforehand. If the crowd’s reactions were any implication, these talented artists just about brought the house down. See for yourself:

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and supported the next generation of jazz. If you missed the KUVO 30 Under 3o Jazz Jam, check out our YouTube for more event highlights here.

“Our 30 under 30 series demonstrate how the state’s jazz scene is thriving thanks to an abundance of young and fresh talent,” said Carlos Lando, KUVO General Manager.

“We hope listeners are as inspired as we are by this next generation of jazz!”
