Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center brings together love, laughter and song in their annual Dia de San Valentin production “Amorcito Corazon,” showing February 12 through 21.

A playful, tongue-in-cheek meditation on the significance of loving relationships, this show promises a musical and comedic exploration of “el bien y el mal” (the good and the bad). Moving between love ballads and vignettes that speak of love, loss and laughter, this play will explore a couple’s relationship spanning more than 50 years.

“Amorcito Corazon” features the music of Pedro Infante, one of Mexico’s more prolific singer/songwriters. Known as “El Padrino de la Musica Romantica” (the godfather of romantic music),  Pedro is remembered for his love ballads that sent women of his time into an ecstasy much like that of the U.S.’s Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.

A special dinner and tequila tasting is planned for Saturday, February 14 (Valentine’s Day). Tickets for the dinner and show are $40 per person, $70 per couple.
