Tune in to KUVO on International Women’s Day! We will be playing music from women all day!

From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., you’ll hear women hosts play women’s music from around the world.

We will also have the following special guests and guest hosts:

— KUVO founder Flo Hernandez-Ramos is joining Abi Clark on The Morning Set to talk about her legacy as a woman in media, her history with KUVO and radio broadcasting.

—  Tree King on Mid-Morning Jazz will talk with Simone Ross during the 11 o’clock hour. Simone is the President & CEO of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, whose vision is to make Colorado the number one state for advancing women in business. Simone is a visionary integrator with a proven executive leadership track record.

Gabriel of Saturday Afternoon Jazz will host from noon to 2 p.m.

Cenir of Brazilian Fantasy on Sundays will host from 2 to 4 p.m.

Kim Berry of Midday Jazz will be your host from 4 to 8 p.m.

And just when you think the party is over…we have an all women artists lineup on Latin Soul Party from 8 p.m. to midnight!

KUVO will continue the celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month throughout the weekend with the following programming:

— Saturday, 3/9 at 6 p.m. — The R&B Jukebox with host Roland Garcia will feature all women artists from the Golden Age of R&B at 6 pm

— Sunday, 3/10 at 8 a.m. — The Gospel Train’s host Deborah Walker will talk to Linda Theus-Lee

— Sunday, 3/10 from 9 to midnight — The Nightside with Andy O’ will honor Women in Jazz and Poetry.
