Grammy-nominated, Singer-Songwriter and violin virtuoso Andrew Bird spans genres from Jazz and Swing to Folk and Indie Rock. With 20 studio and live albums released he’s traveled the globe collaborating with such diverse artists as Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Madison Cunningham, St. Vincent, and many more.

His latest album, “Sunday Morning Put-On,” released on May 24 features the debut of The Andrew Bird Trio as they explore a reimagining of the Great American Songbook. This album features Ted Poor on drums and Alan Hampton on bass as well as guitar from Jeff Parker and piano from Larry Goldings. He had a conversation with Abi Clark and Andy O’ about the album, the influences that led to its creation as well as his evolution as a musical force to be reckoned with.
